Strategy

We consider that the term strategy is often misused. For us, a strategy is a high-level plan to pursue key objectives against a background of uncertainty. Being far-reaching, a strategy requires creative thinking as it always involves the consideration of how to do something new or differently.

A good strategy has three underlying elements: a diagnosis of the nature of the challenge; a guiding policy for dealing with it; and considered actions to meet the challenge. It is problem-solving at its most basic. The issues in many cases are whether the intended strategy is practical and if it can be accomplished with the resources available. Inevitably there are trade-offs and strategies can sometimes take many iterations to formulate.

With our background, we can assess timelines and help you determine priorities. We can identify resources. We can document policies and actions for an easy-to-comprehend strategy roll-out.

In short, we can take your conceptual thinking and develop it into a strategy that fits your needs.
